It is again reiterated that there should be no attempt to approach any international land border without prior consultation and coordination with the Embassy.

US Iran war LIVE updates: Oman said on Wednesday that it welcomed the announcement of a ceasefire between the US and Iran after the two countries agreed a two-week halt in fighting hours before a deadline set by US President Donald Trump.

Oman’s foreign ministry said in a statement that it emphasised “the importance of intensifying efforts at this juncture to identify solutions capable of resolving the crisis at its roots and achieving a permanent cessation of the state of war,” as it welcomed the ceasefire.
