US authorities have thwarted a plot to kill a Sikh separatist in the USA and issued a warning to India over considerations the federal government in New Delhi was concerned, the Monetary Instances reported on Wednesday, citing unnamed sources.
There was no instant response from India’s overseas ministry on the report.
The report comes two months after Canada stated there have been “credible” allegations linking Indian brokers to the June homicide of a Sikh separatist chief in a Vancouver suburb. India has rejected Canada’s accusations.
