Veterans Day store opening hours for Costco, Trader Joe’s, Walmart and more

Today marks Veterans Day, which is observed on November 11 every year. The annual holiday commemorates the end of World War I, which officially took place on November 11 in 1918, and honors all those who have served in the military.

As Veterans Day is a federal holiday, most government offices are shut, while some private businesses may also be closed.

Many places remain open on the day but may be on a reduced schedule. Some may also be offering modified services amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and have safety restrictions in place.

Contact your local branch to confirm exact hours and any COVID-19 measures to note before visiting any venue.

Here we look at the Veterans Day store hours for some major shopping venues across the country.

Costco

Veterans Day is not among the holidays observed by Costco, according to its website, so its venues are open on the day. Its hours of operation typically run from around 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. or 8:30 p.m. local time daily.

The company has implemented some COVID-19 safety measures, such as a face covering policy and special shopping hours for senior members of the community.

See the company website for more information.
