Watch Astra launch 2 tiny hurricane-studying NASA satellites today

Update for 12:16 pm ET: Astra is in a HOLD to complete liquid oxygen conditioning on the LV0010 rocket to launch two hurricane-studying cubesats for NASA’s TROPICS mission after an initial attempt at 12:12 p.m. EDT (1612 GMT). Today’s launch window is again expected to run through 2 p.m. EDT.


Astra aims to notch its second consecutive satellite-deploying success today.
