Kaizer Chiefs suffered a 4-0 defeat to Wydad Casablanca in Sunday’s CAF Champions League match.

Mohamed Ounajem broke the deadlock in the 7th-minute before Ayoub El Kaabi doubled Wydad’s lead on the stroke of half-time.

Kaizer Chiefs then stood firm and held Wydad for the better part of the second-half.
However, they would lose concentration in the dying minutes of the game, and they were punished dearly.
Simon Msuva raced on to a long pass before lobbing the ball past Itumeleng Khune in the 86th-minute to make it 3-0 to Wydad.
It was soon 4-0 after Ramahlwe Mpahlele was adjudged to have handled the ball inside the Kaizer Chiefs box.
Yahya Jabrane stepped and coolly converted from the spot, sending Itumeleng Khune the wrong way.
