IMPACT-BASED WARNINGS:

A. A Level 1 Yellow Warning is expected for severe storms causing localized property damage and localized short-term disruption to municipal and other essential services at locations in Amathole District Townships, OR Tambo, and Alfred Nzo , as well as Enoch Mgijima. , Intsika Yethu and Engcobo local municipalities in the Eastern Cape.

B. A level 2 yellow advisory is expected for damaging wind which will cause localized disruption of small ports and/or harbors for a short period of time and difficulty in navigation at sea between Table Bay and Cape Agulhas in the Western Cape during the morning, moderate in the afternoon.

C. A Level 2 Yellow Warning for wind damage causing localized problems for high-sided vehicles on prone routes is expected over Karoo Hoogland Local Municipality in the Northern Cape, as well as Karoo Central District Municipality and Municipality Breede Valley local in the Western Cape.
