When Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar became a therapist for the depressed Kapil Sharma. Aap Ki Adalat EXCLUSIVE

Comedian and actor Kapil Sharm appeared on India TV’s iconic show Aap Ki Adalat where the editor-in-chief and chairman of India TV rajat sharma he questioned him about his obsession with movies, his two personalities and about his ‘late arrival’. The comedian dodged all accusations with his charming personality and talked about a time in his life when anxiety and depression had taken over his mental well-being. Kapil explained that he made many false moves during that time and felt helpless and alone. There was a time when kapil sharma he had to cancel shows of his popular comedy show because he couldn’t come to film due to his anxiety problems. Even when the shoot was with big Bollywood names like shahrukh khanAjay Devgan and akshay kumar.

Talking to Rajat Sharma about the same, Kapil Sharma revealed that at the time, there were days when he wanted to lock himself in a room and not talk to anyone and then, there were days when he would get up and go for the shoot. He also started drinking. a lot at the time, which was reflected in his angry tweets at night. Kapil explained that the support of his wife Ginni and the golden words of the likes of SRK and Akshay Kumar pushed him through his depression.

Kapil Sharma said that once Shah Rukh Khan was filming near his location, he called the comedian, made him sit in his car and comforted him for over an hour. He said: “It was a phase of anxiety and depression for me. I was in no condition to work. My job was to make people laugh, but if you’re not happy how can you make others laugh? So I started drinking Well I didn’t keep other stars waiting but a lot of shoots got cancelled. I felt sad when Ajay Devgn Saheb’s shoot got cancelled. He loves me and he knew artists go through those phases. One night Shahrukh Bhai was shooting in Film City, he came in his car at night, he took me out and for almost an hour he explained to me “itna tujhe pyaar mil raha hai, tu itna kyun tension le raha hai”, par woh cheez just control me nahin thi, sir (things were not under my control)”. Similarly, he revealed that Akshay Kumar also talked to him a lot at that time and guided him to be better.

Kapil Sharma continued: “I knew I would get out of that phase, but I felt that I won’t be able to speak if I go out in the daylight, when the sun’s rays hit my eyes. He also credited his wife Ginni with bringing stability to his life and motivating him to be a better person. His children further push him to do a good job and act as a role model.

On the work front, Kapil Sharma is currently seen making the audience laugh on his show – The Kapil Sharma Show which airs on TV every weekend. He also has his upcoming Bollywood movie ‘Zwigato’ set to release on March 17. The film is directed by Nandita Das and also stars Shahana Goswami. The movie is about a man named Manas (Kapil) who loses his managerial job during the Covid lockdown and is forced to take the job of a delivery man. How he survives in that competitive environment when all the drivers are working to earn incentives and how he takes care of his family is the core of the movie.
