Radu Dragusin made his European Championship finals debut this morning in Romania’s 3-0 win over Ukraine in Munich. Radu started in the back line for Romania and while I was only able to see the highlights (the match wasn’t televised or streamed in USA), all indications were that Dragusin played quite well in the win.
But all of that is secondary because today I also discovered something else about Radu Dragusin that I didn’t know before and that’s that he’s a gol-danged wizard with a Rubik’s Cube check it out
This video is actually from nearly three years ago when Radu was playing with Romania’s U21 team, and I’m actually mad that I didn’t know about this before now. I mean, Tottenham still signed the guy and that’s great and all, but I think I’d have been WAY more excited for the transfer rumors if I knew he could solve a Rubik’s Cube that quickly.
I am a Rubik’s Cube moron. I cannot solve them. I do not understand the theory. I once tried to prove that I “solved” one by trying to take the colored stickers off and replace them but nobody at school bought it and then I just ruined a perfectly good Rubik’s Cube. So this is impressive to me, personally.
Honestly it’d be rad if, whenever Radu scored a goal either for Romania or Tottenham if there was a Rubik’s Cube sitting by the sidelines ready for him to solve as his goal celebration. How cool would that be? Someone should suggest it to him, though based on this video we’d all have to wait the 50 seconds for him to solve it before the other team could kick off. Totally worth it, IMO.
