Wild acquire veteran forward Reaves from Rangers for fifth-round pick

The New York Rangers obtained forward Ryan Reaves from the Minnesota Wild for a 2025 fifth-round pick Wednesday afternoon.

Reaves, a 13-year NHL veteran, had yet to score in 12 games with the Rangers this season and has 12 penalty minutes.

The newest member of the Wild has 114 career points in stints with the St. Louis Blues, Pittsburgh Penguins, Las Vegas Golden Knights and Rangers.

New York now has eight picks in the 2025 NHL Draft.
