UPDATE 8:15 p.m.: Fire personnel are continuing to work on fire suppression and have prevented further fire spread. The current estimate is 10 to 12 acres. A U.S. Forest Service helicopter is on scene to assist. There are no additional evacuations at this time.
Agencies on Scene include Grand County Sheriff’s Office, Kremmling Fire Protection District, Hot Sulphur Springs/ Parshall Fire Protection District, Grand Fire Protection District No. 1, East Grand Fire Protection District #4, Grand County Colorado EMS, Summit Fire & EMS, Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control, Grand County Emergency Management, BLM Colorado Fire, the Forest Service and Mountain Parks Electric.
UPDATE 7:30 p.m.: The fire is located off County Road 333 west of Williams Fork Reservoir. It is estimated at less than 5 acres at this time, according to the Grand County Sheriff’s Office.
Fire personnel are engaged in fire suppression. Residents in the immediate area have been contacted in person and evacuated. No additional evacuations are required at this time.
7:15 p.m., June 30: The Grand County Sheriff’s Office and Grand County EMS are responding to a wildland fire west of Williams Fork Reservoir.
