It is not unknown that the King of Bollywood shahrukh khan and as producer-director Karan Johar they share an extremely close bond. We all have seen Shah Rukh making a guest appearance in many Karan Johar movies. But last year was a bit disappointing for all the fans when Shah Rukh did not appear on the famous talk show ‘Koffee With Karan’. It’s been almost a year since the last season aired, and now Karan plans to bring back another installment of the controversial chat show where celebrities often whip up some juicy gossip along with their coffee.
If the grapevine is to be believed, Shah Rukh Khan will be the first guest on KWK season 8. In the upcoming season, which will probably air in August or September this year, SRK will start the new season. Likely to talk about the success of Pathaan and his other two movies in the works, some other notable faces will also be on the couch for the first time. The season will also feature some notable faces from Southern cinema including Allu Arjun and ‘Kantara’ famed Rishabh Shetty.
The talk show, Koffee with Karan, is known for its controversial statements where celebrities often brew up some juicy gossip along with their coffee. Last year, celebrities like Ranveer Singh, Alia BhattVijay Deverakonda, Blacksmith Ananya, akshay kumarSamantha Ruth Prabhu amir khan, kareena kapoor khan, Katrina KaifIshaan Khatter and various other celebrities had dished out some hot and fresh tidbits for their fans.
Last year, Karan Johar received a lot of hate for asking questions about the sex lives of celebrities. About that, he said, “So, I don’t know how much of the hate and trolling is actually due to the show; it’s actually more about the fact that a show like this exists and it has this kind of neglect.” hate is sometimes entertaining, because I wonder why they curse it so much, but they also look at it.
Meanwhile, on the work front, KJo returns as a director seven years after Ae Dil Hai Mushkil with Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starring Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Also starring Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, and Dharmendra, the film will be released in July 2023.
