Rasidah Caudal told This Week in Asia on Monday that she had filed a complaint with Singapore’s Online Safety Commission, which helps people deal with online harms such as doxxing and harassment, and intended to lodge a police report.
She also rejected the accusations in a social media post on Monday.
Faishal, 58, resigned last Monday from the cabinet, as an MP and from the ruling People’s Action Party over inappropriate interactions with a woman whose identity has not been publicly revealed.
Faishal said while there was no “physical relationship” between him and the woman, there was a lapse of judgment in how he handled interactions with her and in “failing to establish clearer boundaries at an earlier stage”.
