Yankees’ Aaron Judge sets new AL record with 62nd home run of season

New York Yankees star slugger Aaron Judge has made history with his 62nd home run of the season, setting a new American League record.

After slugging his 61st home run to tie Roger Maris last Wednesday against the Toronto Blue Jays, Judge took the Texas Rangers deep on Tuesday to set the mark. Judge set the mark in the second-last game of the season.

The home run comes after Judge became the first hitter in 21 years to break the 60-homer mark.
