Yash Raj Films to Distribute Shah Rukh Khan’s Lead Jawan Overseas
SRK follows jawan is directed by Atlee and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, rather than YRF. However, Jawan will also have a connection to Yash Raj Film as the brand has decided to come on board as distributors for the film in international markets.
jawan has been in the news all this week because the filmmakers decided to push the movie back from its previous June 2 release date. Bollywood Hungama reported that the film will be delayed until September because it needs time to work on its visual effects. Yesterday, the creators of jawan they themselves revealed that the film will now be released on September 7th. The reshuffling of the film ensured that some other big movies would have to have their release delayed as well.
jawan it is the first collaboration between Shah Rukh and Atlee. The film also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Sanya Malhotra in pivotal roles.
