A young man has died after falling while abseiling in the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney.
Police and paramedics are on the scene after the man, aged in his 20s, fell in Katoomba Cliffs about 8am today.
Witnesses assisted the man before paramedics arrived, NSW Police said.

A rescue operation is underway to retrieve his body.
