Youth takes his own life after parent’s refuse to buy smartphone: police

A 20-year-old youth hanged himself from a tree in Tharparkar, confirmed police on Monday.

The youth killed himself by tying a rope around his neck and hanging himself from it, said police.

Parents of the victim claimed that the youth took his own life after they refused to buy him a smartphone.
